Danisha Brown started Swim With Poppies formally known as Poppy Seeds in December 2011 after graduating from the Art Institutes with a BS in Fashion Design. She loved lingerie and was urged by a co-worker with a background in swimwear to try designing swimsuits.
Now the brand stands out in the most prestigious runway shows ranging from Miami to Paris, France. Swim With Poppies embodies color, nostalgia, and fantasy-driven themes offering a refreshing point-of-view in a crowded industry. Swim With Poppies has since sold internationally and domestically in the U.S. using high-quality materials while maintaining her artistry in crafting intuitive works of art that fit an array of body types.
